Natura Network Agreements
Promoting Natura 2000 at the local level In the framework of our LIFE Nature project we will do a lot of information work (excursions, presentations for the public and stakeholders), production of signs, info panels and brochures, information by specially trained rangers, workshops, etc. Information an our website and through our magazine "Im Gseis".
Involving local stakeholders in the management planning process - creating a local area partnership We will prepare the sectoral management plans and involve stakeholders (i.e. Federal Office for flood control for the managementplan Enns, Styrian Forest Administration for the Forest managementplan), the results of the LIFE project and the further steps will be published in an "After-LIFE-Conservation-Plan", we will compile the managementplan and will also be responsible for implementing it (together with the public authorities).
Involved in a natural site 'Twinning' / networking / knowledge exchange at the European level? National Park Kalkalpen (Wellspring monitoring, forest management), National Park Berchtesgaden (GIS, remote sensing), etc
Branding of Natura 2000 We will use the LIFE and NATURA 2000 logos in the future
