Natura Network Agreements
Organising at least one Green Days event per year Two annual spesific topic promation events. Several voluntering events over the years with Estonian Fund for Nature.
Promoting Natura 2000 at the local level We work with management of privately owned land belonging to Natura network. The communication with landowners (as well as other stakeholders) is kept up by personal contacts. The explain the necessity of the activities the essence of Natura2000 and nature conservation activities is done all the time.
Involving local stakeholders in the management planning process - creating a local area partnership All management activities are done in close co-operation with local people and municipalities. The management of meadows is done by local farmers and land owners; info days and seminars for local people are mostly organized together with municipalities.
Involved in a natural site 'Twinning' / networking / knowledge exchange at the European level? Continuous exchange of experiences is going on with nearby areas of Luitemaa Nature Reserve and Matsalu National Park. Cooperation with Estonian Fund for Nature, Estonian Ornitological Society and Tartu University is carried out to solve specific problems.
