Natura Network Agreements
Organising at least one Green Days event per year During 2005 there was about 60 guided tours and around 20 extra guided tourss outside the schedule of guided tours.
Promoting Natura 2000 at the local level We will send a Natura 2000 management/conservationplan to each stakeholder soon. The area is a naturereserve, and already have a nature reserve-managementplan.
Involving local stakeholders in the management planning process - creating a local area partnership Both stakeholders and the Provincial Government is involved in the management. Our Provincial Government have personel in this site to take care of the management with meadows and daily care and service at the visitor areas. The visitor areas have been restored and are now accessible for disabled.
Involved in a natural site 'Twinning' / networking / knowledge exchange at the European level? Lake Engure Nature Park in Latvia. Lake Hornborgasjön and Lake Kvismaren in Sweden.
